Both new-comers are developed on Intel X99 chipset, targeting Intel Core i7 & Intel Xeon CPUs for Socket LGA2011-3 platforms. The pair employs a 12-phase digital VRM system and allows installing up to 8 DDR4-3300+ MHz memory modules. Both boards accommodate top-tier components which are accompanied by a range of advanced technologies. The key differentiation between the two motherboards is external design. ASRock X99 Taichi boasts an original black-and-white gamut with an offbeat ornament, whereas ASRock X99 Fatal1ty Professional Gaming i7 employs a traditional gaming red-and-black gamut.
